Gaelic (GAA) Sporting Events
After many years of waiting we have finally been offered the opportunity to show Gaelic Football and Hurling matches at the Club. An Irish breakfast will be available on Sunday and light snacks will be available for Saturday matches. As with all Premium Sports events, admission is $20 each day. The full GAA schedule can be found on www.premiumsportsinc.com.
Golf Tournament
The second annual John Murphy Golf Tournament will be held on Sunday, October 3rd at Twin Brook Golf Course in Hyannis. Entry Fee is $85 per golfer for this unique format that will include each player in the foursome only carrying one club for the entire round and only one ball being used by the foursome. The foursome must also hit in the same order for the entire round. Meaning that if you take the first shot then it's not your turn until the 4th person has had a turn. It's like a batting order only with four people instead of nine. Someone may even have to tee off with a putter!! It's sure to be a day filled with laughter. As with the previous year, players are asked to bring non-perishable food items for donation. Sign up sheets are available at the Club. This year's tournament can only accommodate 72 players so submit your applications quickly.
